a cultural, narrative and technological challenge.

Yes Milano

By this means, the Municipality of Milan further strengthens the competitiveness of its businesses in the tourism sector and improves its positioning on the Chinese market. This, by 2030, will represent almost a quarter of global tourism and for Milan, in the next 5 years, a potential of 220 million visitors. The project required the team’s commitment on different levels, to be able to tell the many aspects of a city in constant evolution by offering the right space to all points of interest.

AN OFFICIAL ACCOUNT AND A MINI PROGRAM

Milan presents itself to the public in two ways: the first is the Official Account, YesMilano 探索 米兰, dedicated to users located in China. Inside the official channel there is the necessary information to perceive the enormous potential of the city as a tourist destination. The Official Account provides practical directions for staying in the city and itineraries in the area.

Thanks to the functions of the Mini Program, on the other hand, the user will be able to better organize his visit to the city on the basis of his interests, planning his stay, food and wine, cultural, sporting or shopping trips.

THE CITY EXPERIENCE

The main objective of the Yes Milano project was to offer users a unique experience of a city with a thousand faces.
Over 100 points of interest, between cultural places and destinations of excellence, have been activated and told in the pages of the Official Account. Over 600 businesses have found their place in the search functions and maps of the Mini Program.

Information on services, shops, restaurants, cultural institutions and other points of interest in the city are provided thanks to geolocation functions, by simply consulting an interactive map inside WeChat.
